Firewall & Antivirus
We do not offer any pre-installed antivirus software or DDoS protection in dedicated servers. If you wish to install antivirus software in your server, you can submit the ticket from client area.
In Windows Dedicated server, we will install ClamWin antivirus at no additional cost and default Microsoft Windows Firewall will be pre-installed. For cPanel/WHM Dedicated server, we can install Maldet or ClamAV antivirus and CSF firewall for free.
DDoS Protection
You can purchase DDoS protection for your dedicated server as an addon service. It can mitigate DDoS attacks up to 20GB. To get more details about DDoS protection you can submit the ticket from the client area.
Backup
With a self-managed dedicated server, we do not offer any backup services. Hence, you’ll need to manage the backup of your dedicated server at your end. As an alternative, you can also purchase CDP backup services as an addon.
With a Fully Managed dedicated server, AccuWebHosting will configure CDP backup of your server for FREE. Using the CDP backup service, all your data files will be backed up on a daily basis to our network backup server. For more information on CDP backup, refer to our knowledge base article.
